The customer
Pizzeria Margherita is a 40-cover Italian restaurant in Kraków. Weekly Facebook ads target locals with weekend specials. Before Mochu, comments under the ads were ignored unless someone on staff caught one between dinner rushes.
The problem
Every Friday Marek Wójcik (owner) would post the weekend special ad. Comments rolled in — 'stolik na sobotę 20:00 dla 4?', 'macie wolne miejsce w niedzielę?' — but Marek and his waiters were busy serving. Many requests got missed; some customers called the restaurant directly, but the impatient ones went elsewhere.
What changed with Mochu
Marek picked the 'Restaurant' industry preset and customized the DM template: 'Cześć! Sprawdzam dla Państwa dostępność na [godzina] dla [liczba osób]. Proszę o telefon do potwierdzenia: +48 123 456 789'. The bot now responds to table-availability comments in 2 seconds with a custom DM that captures the request and routes the lead to the restaurant phone.
The result
89 additional confirmed bookings per month in the first 3 weeks. Friday-Saturday capacity now fills by Wednesday (used to fill by Friday morning). The waiter who used to spend 30 minutes/day checking Facebook now spends 5 minutes/day approving the 1-2 ambiguous cases the bot flagged for human review.

Does Mochu make the actual reservation?
No — Mochu captures the request and sends a DM asking for phone confirmation. The owner makes the final booking in their existing reservation system (paper, Excel, or TheFork). We're a lead-capture tool, not a booking platform.
